AVID VTX 2+1 BITE ALARM SETS

VTX 2-Rod Bite Alarm Set includes two alarm heads and a receiver, supplied with clip-on hard cases, a receiver lanyard, and a screwdriver.

The alarms feature a bi-directional sensing roller wheel with 8 sensitivity levels to detect both forward and backward line movement. A multi-light LED system powers twin high-visibility LEDs with four colour options—Green, Blue, Red, and Yellow—plus an optional night light.

Compatible with the VTX EPS receiver, the system provides a stable signal range of up to 150m. The SafeGuard anti-theft system triggers an alert if an alarm head is switched off, while the receiver’s bleep memory shows which rod was last activated.

A weather-sealed case protects the electronics and ensures low battery consumption, powered by 2× AAA batteries. Additional features include a Piezo speaker for clear sound, a low-battery LED indicator, adjustable volume and sensitivity controls, deep rubber-lined ears for rod security, and a 2.5mm power-out socket for illuminated swingers or bobbins.
